Bring your jewelry sketches to life with Fine Jewelry CAD!
Our jewelry CAD design process will transform your sketches into beautiful and functional designs, while ensuring every detail aligns seamlessly with your vision.
Ready to get started? Review our design process below and let's turn your ideas into reality!
To begin the design process, you will receive a personalized consultation via email or phone following the completion of the CAD design form. This consultation ensures that we do not miss any important design elements and allows us to discuss your provided sketches in further detail. After our consultation we will email you a customized quote based on your design requirements.
Within a few business days of the consultation, you'll receive an initial draft of your model along with a preliminary rendering to help you visualize the final product. We are committed to accommodating revisions as necessary during this stage. Each design contract includes three complimentary revisions. Please be aware that any revisions beyond this limit will be subject to an additional fee.
Upon your approval of the 3D model and the completion of the final invoice payment, you will receive a finalized STL file of your model, prepared and ready for 3D printing, along with a collection of high-resolution renderings. The collection of renderings will include a perspective view, top view, side view, and any additional views tailored to the intricacies of your design.
We calculate each customers project individually based on the time needed to complete it as well as the complexity of the design. We charge between $150.00 to $300.00 for routine ring design work, while more complex and sculptural designs will start at $350.00. Below you will find an overview of sample projects with price information for reference.

Our jewelry CAD design service offers a full start-to-finish package, transforming detailed drawings (or napkin sketches!) into precise 3D models. This package includes three design revisions, multiple high-quality photo-realistic renderings, and a finalized STL file of your model prepared for 3D printing.
To start the design process, we require a preliminary sketch of your design along with details including gemstone sizes, gemstone shapes, metal karat, metal color, and sizing information. This information will be carefully reviewed and confirmed during the initial consultation to ensure all pertinent details are accounted for before we begin 3D modelling your design.
You can expect to receive a quote for your jewelry CAD project within 24-48 hours after we receive your submitted CAD design form or initial inquiry, and after we confirm any additional details needed to begin modelling your design
Typically, you can expect to receive an initial draft of your 3D model with noted dimensions and 1-2 photo-realistic renderings within 5-7 business days after payment is received for the quote. Following model approval, the finalized print-ready STL file and additional photo-realistic renderings are typically delivered within 1-2 business days.
We include 3 revisions for each new jewelry CAD design project; however, any further modifications for a single project will incur additional fees, typically $50 per revision, invoiced prior to sending the finalized STL file.
